Mr. Sigbjørn Johnsen, the Norwegian Minister of Finance, visited China from April 10 to 14, 2010 at the invitation of the Chinese Finance Minister Mr. Xie Xuren.

During his visit, Minister Johnsen exchanged views with Minister Xie Xuren on the cooperations and exchanges between the two ministries. Mr. Johnsen also met with Mr. Zhou Xiaochuan, Chief of China's Central Bank, Mr. Liu Tienan, Vice Minister of National Development and Reform Commission, and Mr. Lou Jiwei, Chairman of China Investment Coopration. The discuessions focused on the expansion of cooperation between China and Norway in the finance and banking fields.

Minister Johnsen also paid a visit to the Norwegian Pavilion in the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
