He claimed that China's growing military, economic, and political power poses a challenge to NATO, and NATO will work together with Indo-Pacific allies to address this. What are your comments on this?

Answer: We have taken note of these remarks and strongly oppose NATO repeatedly labeling China as a "threat." NATO claims to be a regional and defensive organization, but certain members of NATO constantly extend beyond traditional defense regions, frequently establishing close military contacts with countries in the Asia-Pacific, results in escalating tensions. It is clear to the international community who the real threat to regional and global peace is.

China is the only country in the world that has enshrined the principle of "peaceful development" in its constitution. China has always been committed to being a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and a defender of the international order. History has proven that China's development has brought opportunities, not challenges, to countries around the world, including NATO member states. We urge NATO to objectively and rationally view China's development and its normal cooperation with other countries, and to stop stirring up regional conflicts and creating divisions and unrest. China will continue to inject stability into the turbulent international situation and, together with other countries, contribute to world peace, stability, and long-term security.
