The Chinese Embassy in Norway Mourned in Deep Grief for the Zhouqu Mudslide Victims

On August 15, 2010, the Chinese Embassy in Norway mourned for the victims of the mudslide in Zhouqu, Gansu Province together with all the Chinese people and all Chinese embassies and consulates abroad. The Embassy flew the national flag at half-mast, and Ambassador Tang Guoqiang and all the other staff in the Embassy paid three-minute silent tribute to the victims.

The Embassy staff are concerned about the people in the disaster area. They firmly believe that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council and with the support of all the Chinese people, the people in Zhouqu will overcome all the difficulties and build a new home. The Embassy will spare no efforts to work hard and support the relief work and reconstruction in the disaster area.
