At the invitation of the Norwegian Labour Party, Mr. He Yiting, Executive Vice Minister of the Policy and Research Office of the Communist Party of China, paid a visit to Norway from March 8 to March 10, 2010.

During his visit, Mr. He Yiting had meetings respectively with Mr. Raymond Johansen, General Secretary of the Norwegian Labour Party, Ms. Silje Schei Tveitdal, General Secretary of the Socialist Left Party, and Ms. Henriette Westhrin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion. Friendly talks were conducted between the two sides on issues of further strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the Parties in the two countries and of developing stable bilateral relations.

Chinese Ambassador Tang Guoqiang attended the meetings.
