The women from the Chinese Women's Confederation in Norway, the Chinese Professionals in Norway and the Chinese Embassy attended the reception. In her speech, Mrs. Tang said the overseas Chinese women in Norway have been playing an important role of " holding up half of the sky" both in business and at home through their hard-working and independent spirit and by displaying great talents. In recent years, they have made remarkable achievements in all fields. They are not only working hard to promote the development of the Chinese community, but also giving supports to the homeland's development. She hoped that the overseas Chinese women in Norway would unite more closely to make more contributions to the families, the Chinese community and the social undertakings.
