On May 19, the Chinese Embassy in Norway held a condolence ceremony for the victims of Sichuan earthquake. In her speech, Ambassador Gao Jian said, in our fighting against earthquake and in the relief efforts, we have fully demonstrated our determination and compassion. This is where our strength lies, and this is also why China could be so resilient and proudly stand among the nations of the world. The Embassy staff paid silent tribute to the victims of their fellow countrymen killed in the earthquake.

The Embassy opens a Condolence Book for the general public in Norway at Tuengen alle 2B, at 09:00-16:30 from Monday 19 May to Wednesday 21 May.
